Sweet Adelines chapters provide a great community and cirlce of friends for participants. I wanted to tell you a couple of things that have been going on in our chorus the past few weeks.One of our members has been very ill for several weeks-- in the hospital for surgery, then out and back in again. I lost a dear friend of mine last month. We met at Sweet Adelines and became good friends. We were roommates at contest time, car pool mates at music school time, and just good friends both on and off the chorus field.My friend had lung cancer, and succumbed to the disease in August 2007.
